You are welcome to make an appointment for a personal meeting with us via video chat. Simply send us an e-mail or contact the contact person directly.
GFZ staff can contact us personally via direct chat in Nextcloud https://nextcloud.gfz-potsdam.de (login with domain password).
Library introductions and consultations are offered regularly and on request in online format. More here.
Book loans
Books can be picked up in the foyer of building A17, if you have received a pick-up notice. We kindly ask you to enter the foyer of the library individually and with mouth-nose-protection.
For book orders from our own stocks and interlibrary loans, please use the document delivery form.
Please keep in mind that we are bound by deadlines for interlibrary loans and ensure that they are returned to us in time by internal mail.
Branch libraries
PIK
The library is staffed from Tuesday to Thursday. Due to construction work in the eastern wing the library has limited access at the moment. Please make an appointment if you wish to borrow a book from the library.
