All available journals - electronic and printed - can be searched using our Discovery System ALBERT or browsed by an alphabetical list. There are about 36,000 e-journals of different topics.

The stock of printed journals comprises nearly 2,500 titles and also a broad collection of series with a focus on geosciences. The volumes, most of them are bound by year, can be found in our freely accessible stacks in building A17 or in closed stack areas in other buildings at the Telegrafenberg (please contact the library staff in case of need).

You can search for individual articles from journals in our databases. Another way is the direct search in ALBERT, especially for the latest available articles and Open Access sources.

The EZB (German only) is an online reference for electronically published scientific full-text journals. Via this portal you can find all licensed (yellow dot) and freely available (green dot) journals of the Science Park.

The DOAJ comprises more than 12,000 freely accessible scientific full-text journals (Open Access journals) of all subject areas. More than 9,000 of these are searchable on article level. This directory also works as a "white list" for reputable Open Access journals.
