Persisten identifiers for text and data publications

For publications of GFZ, PIK, AWI and RIFS the library assignes:

  • ISBN for books
  • ISSN for series
  • DOI and URN for elektronicdocuments.

If you plan to publish, we are happy to help you!

DOI assignment

We register DOIs for:

  • Text publications
  • Conference proceedings
  • Research data (up to now just for GFZ)

The following information or files we need from the author(s):

  • Meta data: title, author(s), publication year ...
  • for reports: full text (if applicable)
  • for research data: data files (if applicable)
