Publishing and find
The library cooperates with groups at the GFZ and other institutes to publish research data. If you want to publish research data on our platform, we are happy to support you and inform you about new developments. Our focus is on publishing research data on our platform GFZ Data Service and the allocation of DOIs at Datacite.
The published data packages are assigned a unique Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) analogous to the text publication and can thus be cited persistently.
In addition, we offer information on data journals such as Earth System Science Data (ESSD), Scientific Data (nature) or the Earth and Space Sciences.

Find research data
Research data are an elementary part of scientific working in the geosciences. Within the last years, guiding principles and practices have been developed and we work on the basis of these principles.
According to the FAIR principles data should be "Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Re-usable".
