Our library system will be updated on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Service restrictions are expected from Wednesday, July 22, 2026, until the system is fully operational on Friday, July 24, 2026.
Not available during maintenance:
- Catalog search (OPAC)
- Library Account
- Online renewals
- Online reservations
You can still search the library’s holdings using our search engine ALBERT at https://waesearch.kobv.de. Redirects to the catalog will not work during maintenance.
If you wish to borrow items, please contact us directly at bib@gfz.de. Returns can still be made via the Help Desk and the return box. Borrowing items are possibly on Thursday via bib@gfz.de or directly at the Help Desk.
