Our Institutional Repositories (Green OA)
In addition to the original publication in scientific journals, often it is possible to self-archive and publish your journal articles in our repository (Green Open Access). We will check for you if the respective publisher allows the upload of the final draft or even the published version.

Information and Materials on Publishing
Open Access publication in the publication database GFZpublic:
- Send your Final Draft directly to openaccess@gfz-potsdam.de or have it uploaded in the normal workflow by the section secretariats when entering the metadata.
- The library will do the rest! Review and comply with legal requirements, review final draft, publish.
In case an open access publication is not possible, the text will be archived internally. - Metadata and fulltexts will be retrieved by relevant search engines. When preparing bibliographies, e. g. for your websites, appropriate data is generated.
