International Open Access Week 2024

This year's International Open Access Week takes place from 21-27 October and is themed “Community over Commercialization”, taking up approaches to open science that serve the best interests of the public and the scientific community. In light of the growing commercialization in science communication, the focus, similar to last year, is on perspectives and strategies for open science that focus on the needs of scientific communities.

The joint library Wissenschaftspark Albert Einstein deals with the idea of openness in its day-to-day work and promotes Open Access within the framework of the Helmholtz Association's Open Access Policy. In the context of the upcomming Open Access Week, we would like to draw your attention to our services concerning Open Access publications. We offer individual consultations to provide information on the various Open Access models and publication options. This includes various questions on suitable open access journals or on financing Open Access.
