Open Access

Steps to Green Open Access for GFZ – PIK - AWI - IASS:

GFZ

Open access publication through the GFZ publication database GFZpublic (institutional repository).

  • Just send your final draft to openaccess(at)gfz-potsdam.de or use the upload feature in the workflow when your section's secretary enters an article's metadata in the publication database.
  • The library will do everything else for you: check and compliance with legal conditions, publication.
  • If an open publication is not possible the text will be archived internally (dark archive).
  • Metadata and fulltexts will be found by search engines. Reference lists on your personal or section's website will be generated automatically, also linking to full-texts.
