Repository Finder

More and more investors and publishers expect that research data is provided through appropriate repositories, e.g. GFZ Data Services (http://dataservices.gfz-potsdam.de/portal/)

Who's seeking for advice in orientation, can make a find at the Repository Finder. It offers the possibility to retrieve results, that meet the criteria recommended by the Enabling FAIR Data Project, i.e. repositories, that are used by the community, enable open access to data and utilize persistent identifiers.

Researchers, who can't find a suitable repository or want to use additional criteria, can search for all repositories in re3data.org through this new tool. The Repository Finder is based on re3data.org, a service by DataCite. It contains nearly 2.200 records. Thereby re3data.org offers a broad overview of the repository diversity in research data management for researchers as well as service providers and infrastructure managers. With detailed information this service is one of the most comprehensive reference sources for research data infrastructures worldwide. The "Library and Information Services" participates in re3data.org since the project started.
